Are Panera Value Duets Still Available?

We read the menu at all 2,239 US Panera cafes and found no Duet of any kind. The good news is the deal did not disappear, it changed name and got cheaper: two items now cost $9.98 on the Mix & Match menu, which undercuts every other way to buy a two-item Panera meal.

What Happened to the Panera Value Duets
Panera retired the Value Duets line in February 2026. Reading the menu across 2,239 US cafes returns no Panera Bread duets at any price, at any location. What the Duets did, two items for one set price, is now the Mix & Match menu's job, and it does it for less.

A Value Duet was a two-item combination at a single set price, in the same family as You Pick Two. We do not print what one cost. The product is gone, so no figure we published could be checked against a menu anybody can order from, and a price nobody can pay is not information.
What is checkable is every current option, and that is the table below. The short answer is that a searcher arriving here looking for the old deal is not worse off: the cheapest two-item route today costs $1.01 less than the dearest.

Panera Duets Menu Replacement: What Two Items Cost Now
The three ways to buy a two-item Panera meal, cheapest first. Every figure is read from the same cafe snapshot, and the basis of each is stated rather than left to be assumed.

Price is not the only difference. The cheapest option is also the most restricted, which is the trade the old Duets made too.

The direct successor and the cheapest route. The catch is the board: you choose from a fixed list rather than the full menu, so the item you want may not be on it.
You Pick Two, from $10.59
$0.61 more, and a far wider choice: two half portions from most of the menu, with a baguette. This is the one to use when Mix & Match does not carry what you want.
Buying separately, about $10.99
The dearest of the three even at its cheapest pairing, and worth knowing only as the baseline the other two are measured against. Anything you can buy on a set-price menu, buy there.

The Value Duets Replacement Is Not a Deal Everywhere
Every guide to this quotes one saving. Reading the price of each item at every cafe rather than taking a national average shows why that is wrong: the offer is fixed and the thing it is measured against is not.

At the cheapest cafes in the country it saves nothing and costs $0.30 more than ordering the two things normally. At the dearest it is worth $5.40.

Does Panera still have Value Duets?
No. Panera withdrew them in February 2026, and no Duet appears anywhere in the menu data we read across 2,239 US bakery-cafes in August 2026. The name is still searched about 2,200 times a month, which is why this page exists, but there is nothing on the menu to order under it.
What replaced Panera Value Duets?
The Mix & Match menu. It pairs two items for $9.98 at $4.99 each, which is less than the two other ways to buy a two-item Panera meal: You Pick Two starts at $10.59, and buying the same two things separately comes to about $10.99.
Was the Value Duet cheaper than what replaced it?
We do not publish a Duet price, and that is deliberate. The product is gone, so no figure we printed could be checked against a menu anybody can order from. What is checkable is the price of every current option, and the cheapest of those is the Mix & Match menu.
