You earn 10 points for every dollar spent with your MyPanera account, and you spend them at two published levels: 250 points for a bagel or mini bakery treat, 2,000 points for any whole entree. Panera replaced the old system on 19 August 2026, where rewards simply appeared once you had spent enough and the threshold was never published.

10 points per dollar, in cafe, in the app and on Panera's own delivery. That makes the 250-point reward $25 of spending and the 2,000-point reward $200.00. Third-party delivery apps earn nothing, which is the single biggest way people lose points without noticing.

It depends which level you spend at, and the answer is the opposite of what most people assume. $25 of spending buys an Asiago Bagel worth $2.10, a 8.4% return. $200 of spending buys a whole entree, and the dearest on the menu is the Ultimate Garden Steak Salad at $14.18, which is 7.1%. The small reward is the better one per point.

Any whole entree, so the value is entirely your choice. The dearest are the Ultimate Garden Steak Salad, Green Goddess Chicken Cobb Salad, Carnitas Elote Market Bowl, from $13.65 to $14.18. Picking a $14.18 salad rather than a $2.10 bagel is the difference between 7.1% back and nothing like it.

There are no longer tiers you unlock by spending. That is the part of the programme Panera changed on 19 August 2026. There are two fixed prices in points and nothing else: 250 and 2,000. Anything describing bronze, silver or gold MyPanera tiers is describing a system that no longer exists.

Anything a third party processes. DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub handle the payment themselves, so Panera never sees the transaction and no points are recorded, whatever phone number you enter. Buying a gift card earns nothing either, though spending one does. The $14.99 Sip Club fee is a subscription rather than a purchase, so it earns nothing on its own.

Yes, and there is no spending requirement to keep it. You can sign up in the app, on the website or at the counter, and you start earning on the first purchase. The paid MyPanera+ tier is separate and optional; the 250 and 2,000 point levels are the same either way.

Yes, and they work on different things, which is why they stack. The Sip Club at $14.99 a month covers the drink; points are earned on food. A visit where the drink is free and the food earns 10 points a dollar is the cheapest way to move toward a reward.

Panera has not published an expiry rule for the points balance under the programme that started on 19 August 2026, so we do not print one. Individual promotional offers do carry their own expiry dates, and those are shown on the offer in the app.

Open the Panera app, go to the Rewards tab and choose the reward. It is applied to your next order automatically. Because 2,000 points buys any whole entree, the one decision worth making is which entree, and the table above ranks them by what they cost.
